Trading Entity

The website ( www.macadamianz.co.nz) is owned and operated by a partnership- business owned by Mohan and Amitha Peiris (“we” / “us” ) to primarily sell macadamia nuts produced in small farms at 878 South Head Road, Helensville and 322 Glenmohr Road, Waipu ( collectively known as Francis Farms) and other related products.

Capacity to use the online shop

Only persons over 18 years of age with the capacity to contract should use this online shop. When you use our online shop you will be confirming to us that you have the capacity to contract.

Prices

All prices given are in New Zealand dollars and includes GST ( goods and services tax). We reserve the right to alter prices at any time and for any reason. Shipping costs are not included in the price and hence are additional to the prices ( please see section on Shipping for further information) .

Use of the online shop

By using the online shop you will be able to buy our products and to pay for them using a secure Visa or Mastercard transaction facility provided by Shopify Payments. We will use your credit card information only to process your order and we will not retain your credit card information. Your credit card information will be protected by the latest security features provided by Shopify Payments powered by Stripe.

Paying for goods

You will be required to pay for the goods by using Shopify Payments which is a secure payment facility. Once your payment has been received by us, you will be sent an e-mail confirming the payment. The credit card transactions will be processed in New Zealand . Please note that some banks may charge overseas transaction fees and/or foreign exchange fees for orders placed outside of New Zealand.

Shipping

Shipping costs will vary from order to order and from place to place within New Zealand. These cost will be made known to you before you pay for the order. Indicative shipping costs for a parcel weighing up to 2 kgs are: $ 9 for North Island addresses and $ 14 for South Island addresses ( rural delivery costs will be around $ 3 more).

Delivery

We crack and pack our macadamia nuts to order and we will try our best to deliver the goods to your address in New Zealand within 7 working days. We dispatch your parcels on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have discontinued dispatching on Fridays to avoid parcels being in storage with couriers for three whole days. (Our working days at the orchard and factory that dispatches many of our products are Tuesday to Saturday. The orchard is closed for business on Sundays and Mondays.)

Returns

We believe that the goods that you purchase will reach you in perfect condition. However if you are not satisfied, please contact us within 10 working days of receiving the goods to seek a refund or replacement, on return of any unused goods.

Privacy

Any information you give will be used only by us and we will not sell, distribute or give your information to anyone else. Only if you have given us permission, will we add you to our mailing list to send you general information about our business, products, and new products and promotions.
